You probably have many questions regarding your order with Bear Hugs. If you do not find the answer you are looking for on this page, please feel free to contact me for the information you desire!

How soon will I get my order?
Please allow:
1-2 weeks for pet announcements, handmade birth announcements & unique baby shower invitations .
4-6weeks for scrapbook or calendar orders.
4-6weeks for recipe book orders.

Because all of my products are handcrafted, they take time to assemble and create. If you find you need your product sooner than the time allotted, please contact me to make special arrangements.

What type of shipping methods are used to get my order to me?
Bear Hugs uses the United States Postal Service (USPS) for Priority Mail shipping. Through the USPS, I obtain insurance on your package, as well as required signature at the time of delivery. This helps to ensure your package arrives safely to you.

I use flat rate shipping boxes to save you money on your shipping charges. I charge an additional small handling fee as well.

What type of payment methods do you accept?
Feel secure with your payment by using PayPal. You do not have to have a PayPal account to use PayPal. It's the easiest and safest way to pay on the internet!

Is my personal information safe?
Bear Hugs will not give out or sell your personal information to anyone. All of your credit card information is secure when you make your payment through PayPal. You never even have to give it to me!

Can I make changes to my order?
Once your order has been placed, you may make changes to it as long as the crafting process has not yet begun. The crafting process will not begin without your approval.
Crafting Process Defined: The cutting and putting together of paper, vellum, embellishments or other products needed to create your order.

Announcements, invitations, custom designs, and any other digitally produced products will be proofed by you before your order is started. A digital proof will be sent to you via e-mail for your approval. Once approval is received, the crafting process will begin. Once the crafting process has begun, changes to the product are no longer possible.

Scrapbooks, calendars and recipe books will be discussed verbally between you and I to determine what is desired for your special product. Because each of these items are different every time they are created, it is necessary to determine what you would like from your product. The crafting process will not begin until all aspects of your product have been discussed and agreed upon by us together.

Do you have online ordering?
Because all of my products are handmade and can be altered to suit your taste, it is not possible to make changes online with the accuracy I would like. Simply stated, I want to get your order just the way you want it! Contact me to get your order started today.

What if I need more announcements/invitations after I have received my order?
No problem. I will keep your order on file for 3 months from your order date. If you would like me to keep your information for a longer period of time, please contact me.

Do you charge a set-up fee?
No. Never.

If I order a scrapbook or calendar, who inserts my photos?
You can send me your photos in the mail and I will insert them into your scrapbook or calendar for you. Or, once you receive your scrapbook or calendar, you can insert your photos yourself.

There is no extra charge if I insert your photos for you. However, I will require written permission to adhere your photos and to crop your photos if necessary.

All products are created for a standard 4x6 photo. Larger or smaller photo mattes can be made upon request at no extra charge.
