During my childhood, I can remember always having a pet to love. My love of pets has continued into my adult life, and we have one very wild and frisky cat, and an extremely rambunctious Golden Retriever. Boo Kitty and Chewy are what make our house a home. Without them in our lives, I would not feel as though our family is complete.

In the past few years, our pets have truly become the centerpieces of our lives. Not just in my family, but in families around the country. Shops that cater just to our pets are springing up everywhere! I had never heard the word "Barkery" until I saw a shop that bakes treats and sells clothing just for dogs.

Our pets are part of the family. They give love and affection at any time (well, maybe not cats) we may want or need it. They are always there when we come home at night to offer support after a long day. They are always willing to snuggle, and will play on short notice.
